Detailed Itinerary
Your journey begins with a pickup from the railway station in Calicut, followed by a scenic drive to Wayanad. En route, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of hills, reflective lakes surrounded by lush forests, caves, babbling brooks, and petite waterfalls. Upon arrival in Wayanad, you'll be escorted to your hotel room for a restful overnight stay.
After a nourishing breakfast at your hotel, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Wayanad. Your adventure starts with a hike up Ambukuthi hill near Ambalavayal to visit the Neolithic cave site of Edakkal. Next, you'll explore Muthanga forest within the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, where you might spot herds of wild elephants and other local fauna. Post-lunch, you'll visit Kuruva Island, a verdant 955-acre forest haven nestled among the tributaries of the eastward-flowing Kabani River. The day concludes with a return to your hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
On your third day, you have the option to visit 900 Kandi at your own expense. A key attraction here is the famous glass bridge, offering an exciting skywalk experience (note: this may not be suitable for those with acrophobia). This unique vantage point provides an extraordinary view of Wayanad's wilderness, with the glass floor revealing stunning vistas of the region's blue-green landscape below. In the evening, you'll return to your hotel in Wayanad for rest and an overnight stay.
Start your final day with a hearty breakfast at your Wayanad hotel before checking out. As your 3-night, 4-day Wayanad adventure comes to a close, our representative will transport you to Calicut airport or railway station for your onward journey, leaving you with cherished memories of your trip.
