Detailed Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jammu or Katra railway station, our representative will greet you and escort you to Srinagar. The scenic drive takes you through majestic mountains and pine-covered forests. En route, we’ll make a stop at the ancient Awantipura Ruins—an 1100-year-old temple built by King Awantivarman, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Upon reaching Srinagar, check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head towards Sonamarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Gold.” Surrounded by lush valleys, vibrant wildflowers, and tranquil lakes, Sonamarg offers spectacular views especially in spring when the snow-kissed landscape glows with golden hues. The Sindh River nourishes the area’s exotic flora, while the forests brim with pine, fir, silver birch, and sycamore trees. As the gateway to Ladakh and the starting point for the Amarnath Yatra, Sonamarg is a peaceful haven for nature lovers. Spend the night at a hotel in Sonamarg.
After an early breakfast, drive to the Neelgrath Helipad. From here, board a helicopter to Panjtarni (subject to weather and seat availability). The sacred Amarnath Cave is about 6 km from Panjtarni, and you may choose to walk or hire a pony/palki at your own expense. After seeking blessings at the holy cave, return to Panjtarni in time for your helicopter ride back to Neelgrath. Drive back to Sonamarg for an overnight stay.
Enjoy a relaxed morning before heading back to Srinagar. On arrival, visit the revered Kheer Bhawani and Sharada temples. Later, take a stroll through Srinagar's stunning Mughal Gardens, including the serene Nishat Bagh. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your Srinagar hotel.
Post breakfast, travel to Gulmarg—known for its vibrant floral meadows. You can enjoy pony rides or take the popular Gondola cable car ride (direct payment applies). Gulmarg is also famed for its 18-hole golf course and some of the finest ski slopes in the world. After a day of exploration, return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay.
