Detailed Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Jaipur airport, you will be greeted by our representative and be escorted to your hotel. After you complete your check-in process, you can start with your city tour. The first destination will be the City Palace of Jaipur. The City Palace boasts of very minute details. Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal comprise the major portion of this palace. There are four entrances to the palace, be it; Udai Pol, Jaleb Chowk, Tripolia Gate and Virendra Pol. Embossed with fine artworks and engravings, every corner of this palace is filled with immemorial imprints from the past. Right outside the Palace is a traditional market, where you can go and shop for souvenirs to take back home. Post this exciting day, you must head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin your day with a healthy breakfast and then head out to re-start your city tour. Today you will visit the Hawa Mahal, Jaigarh Fort and Albert Hall Museum. The Hawa Mahal is located right in the heart of the city. Its 953 windows are the highlight of the Mahal and that’s where it gets the name “Palace of the Winds” from. Apart from that, the pink sandstone structure has a façade that looks like the crown of Lord Krishna. This architectural marvel is a must visit place. Post that, you can head to the Albert Hall Museum. In the year 1880, one of the local surgeons of Jaipur, Dr Thomas Holbein Hendley suggested to the then ruler of Jaipur, to open a museum within this hall. The Maharaja liked this suggestion and thus the Albert Hall Museum took shape. Now the museum is one of the most loved attractions in the city. All we can is that, all hail Dr Hendley. Your last destination for the day is the Jaigarh Fort. The reason we will visit the fort right before sunset is that the sunset from the top of this fort is the most beautiful experience you can have on your trip to Jaipur. Apart from the amazing architectural style of the fort, the sunset is a not-to-missed feature of the fort. Later on, you can return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.
Today you will be travelling to your next city, Ranthambore. The city is located 155 kms away from Jaipur and the road trip should take you around 3 hours. So, make sure you have an early breakfast and get going. After your check-in procedure at the hotel, you can start with your tour of the city. The first attraction in Ranthambore has to be the Tiger’s trail. You can go out to scout for a tiger and take a closer view of the fierce animal. Although we are in their territory, if we remain silent we can get a better view of this very majestic animal. You can also sight pug marks of the tiger on your trail. Make sure you do not get off the jeep you are in and remain as silent as possible and enjoy the movement of the tiger. Later on, before sunset, head back to your hotel for dinner and night stay.
On day 4, you can start your day with breakfast and then make your way to the Ranthambore Fort. The fort is a well-known space since the rulers of the ancient period used to come here for hunting. It played a definite role and still does in taking the tour of Rajasthan to the next level. Also, it is considered as a precious spot since it is on one of the World Heritage List. Your next destination will be the Rajiv Gandhi Regional Museum of Natural History. It is India’s fourth regional museum of natural history and it is termed as one of the best places to visit in Ranthambore. The main aim of this museum is to create awareness among the public about the importance of preserving the flora and fauna, which are very rare in the surrounding. The last attraction is the Jeep Safari. Ranthambore national park does have a wide range of wildlife collection, which will amuse your eyes. Jeep safari is the best option to go deep into the jungles and meet the inhabitants. Jeep safaris can be done either in the morning or in the evening, at a prescribed time. After this thrilling day, head back to your hotel and catch up on some rest.
Another road trip awaits you; today it is from Ranthambore to Udaipur. The distance you need to cover is 411.6 kms and it should take you around 7 hours to reach your destination. Your first attraction in the city after your check-in procedure will be the City Palace of Udaipur. The palace is nestled in the bosom of the Aravalli. Its granite and marble edifices stand in contrast to its tranquil surroundings. Several movies such as ‘Guide’ and ‘Octopussy’ have been shot at the Palace. After the tour of the palace, head to Hathi Pol for a lovely shopping experience. Post that, you can return to your hotel for the night stay.
Follow your breakfast routine at the hotel and then head out in the city to visit its attraction points. You will begin with, Kumbhalgarh Fort. Declared the UNESCO world heritage site in 2013 this fort situated in the middle of a forest which has been turned into a wildlife sanctuary. It is the second largest and the most important tourist destination in the city. After the tour of the fort, you can head to Sahelion Ki Bari garden. Sahelion Ki Bari is a majestic garden in the city of Udaipur. It is also known as the “Courtyard of Maidens”. A story suggests that it was actually built made for the maidens who accompanied the princess after her marriage with Maharana Sangram Singh. It is the perfect place to relax during the day. Later on, you can head to Mansapurna Karni Mata Ropeway. The ropeway is a splendid way to commute to the Machala Hill Top, the highest hilltop in the city. This 387 meter ropeway offers you a bird’s eye view of the entire city. Post this exciting day, head back to your hotel.
On your last day in the city, you have some very important destinations planned for you. So, complete your breakfast and start with your tour. The first place you will be visiting is the Monsoon Palace. Also known as the Sajjangarh Fort, the palace is located at a peak of the Bansdara Mountain. The mountain is as high as about 944 m above the sea level, overlooking the famous Pichola Lake. The palace used to be a summer retreat for Mewar Kings and also the place they used to visit during the monsoon season, to watch the progress of the Monsoon clouds. The next destination on your list is the Fateh Sagar Lake. It is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur. Apart from enjoying a laid-back view of the serene beauty of this destination, you can also try your hand at boating and a number of other water sports that are available at the lake of the tourists. The last destination of the day is Ambrai Ghats. The beautiful ghat has marble railings and benches that add a unique charm to the attraction. One can get a fabulous view of the Lake Palace, Shiva Niwas and Jag Mandir from the ghat. Post this tiring yet fun day, return to your hotel and start packing for your departure the next day.
