Detailed Itinerary

With its several attractive constructed lakes, luxurious palaces that provide views of the city's regal past, and invigorating greenery pulling you to the lap of Mother Nature, the 'Venice of the East' is an exquisite joy to the eyes and mind. Maharana Udai Singh II created the 'City of Lakes' in 1553, and it boasts an abundance of zinc and marble. The Aravalli Hills divide it from the Thar Desert. Aside from such marvels, the numerous festivals held throughout the year provide a crucial boost to your artistic self. Udaipur is a city that draws you inexorably closer to its rich culture.
Begin your day on a royal tone, as befitting one of the city's most notable characteristics. Visit the beautiful Udaipur City Palace, which towers over Lake Pichola and consists of four major and several minor palaces. The palace contains several amazing and unique architectural marvels, such as balconies, cupolas, and towers, and you can also visit the museum to see the various relics on display. Take a boat ride on the Pichola Lake after the two-hour palace tour. The Lake Palace, also known as Jag Niwas, is currently a luxury hotel that has been featured in numerous films. Next, head to Bagore Ki Haveli, where you can learn more about Mewar's culture and lifestyle through the Rajputs' antique collection, which includes jeweler boxes, copper dishes, and other items. You can also go to the folk music and dancing concerts that are held there on a regular basis. Aside from numerous lakes, such as Fateh Sagar Lake, and palaces, you can also check out the antique vehicle collection on the grounds of Garden Hotel. In and around the city, there are numerous animal sanctuaries. Return home with mementos from Shilpgram, a traditional center for arts and handcraft.
After a three-hour drive from Udaipur, you arrive to Mount Abu, Rajasthan's lone hill station. The little hill station, which is naturally abounding with lakes, waterfalls, intriguing rock formations, some ancient colonial bungalows, and misty green folds, provides a welcome respite from Rajasthan's generally hectic areas. Apart from its wildlife reserves, Mount Abu's main attractions include the cafes and markets surrounding Lake Nakki, where you may also take a boat ride, the Dilwara Temple built out of white marble with significant spiritual significance, Achalgarh Fort, and Guru Shikhar. Trekking, caving, camping, and rock climbing are all popular activities in the area. There is also a sunset location where you can end your day on a lovely note.
After another four and a half hours of driving, you'll arrive in Jodhpur, Rajasthan's blue city in the Thar Desert. The buildings in the city are uniformly painted in colors of blue, which was previously a symbol to distinguish dwellings occupied by upper caste Brahmins. In keeping with Rajasthan's principal characteristic, Jodhpur, the state's second metropolitan city, offers a plethora of palaces and other royal relics. Apart from visiting the other prominent sites, simply take a stroll down the blue streets and let the city's everyday life add color to your recollections of the location.
The spectacular Mehrangarh Fort, built of red sandstone and towering over the blue city it looms over, is the perfect place to start sightseeing in Jodhpur. It was built by Rao Jodha in 1460 and is one of India's largest forts. The fort, which stands 410 feet above the city, is surrounded by strong walls. Inside the magnificent fort, there are unique museum shops with elephants' howdas and palanquins, as well as restaurants with a spectacular view of the city below while enjoying a romantic lunch. Zip-lining is available on the fort's north side to get your adrenaline pumping. Another must-see attraction is the Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park. Explore this once-rocky wasteland, which has been turned into an interesting park with walking routes and breathtaking vistas. Your journey to Jodhpur would be completed if you didn't stop by the clock tower and the busy market that surrounds the landmark tower, which is still operational. The Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph built by Maharaja Sardar Singh in remembrance of his father, is also worth a visit. It is a work of art made entirely of white marbles.
On the sixth day, your journey comes to an end. You will be taken to the airport or train station.
