Arrive in Chandigarh and proceed to the pre-arranged meeting location, where a representative will assist you with smooth hotel transfers. Leave Chandigarh early to beat the traffic and take the Himalayan Expressway to the Himalayas. You'll pass via Chail, a hill station in the lower Himalayan range known for its stunning flower orchards, along the journey. After a short stop for lunch, you'll go to Narkanda, Himachal Pradesh's fruit bowl. Apple and cherry trees cover the roadsides, while majestic Deodhar fir trees fill the air with their wonderful fragrance. Finish the day by checking into your Narkanda hotel.
Get up early in the morning to see one of the most spectacular sunrises in the world.After a great breakfast, you will depart for one of Kinnaur Valley's most magnificent views.Travel down the Sutlej river until you reach Karcham, where you will turn right and follow the Baspa river to Chitkul.Chitkul is the last inhabited settlement before the Indo-China border, and it is here that you can dine at the famous 'Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba.' Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel/homestay in Chitkul.
You will depart for Kalpa after a substantial breakfast.You'll return to Karcham, from whence you'll go deeper into the valley towards Powari.At Powari, turn left to ride to ReoKong Peo, the district's principal town, from where you will continue to Kalpa. Spend the night in the lovely Kalpa village, which has a stunning view of the Kinnaur Kailash mountains. Spend the night in Kalpa in a camp or homestay.
You will depart for Kaza after an early morning breakfast, passing via the magnificent Spiti Valley.You'll travel along the Indo-Tiber Highway and cross the Khab Bridge, which marks the confluence of the Spiti and Satluj Rivers.Stop for lunch at Nako Lake, after which you will enter the Spiti Valley as soon as you cross Sumdo. About 3 kilometers from Sumdo, turn right through the gate to see the 500-year-old mummy in Gue Village. After that, you'll travel to Kaza, where you'll spend the night in a hotel.
After an early morning breakfast, head out and discover Kaza's breathtaking scenery. Visit tourist attractions such as the Key Gompa Monastery in the little settlement of Langza in Spiti Valley, which is tucked between the mountains in a bowl-shaped valley. Langza, at 14,500 feet above sea level, is one of the world's highest communities with a motorable road, while nearby Komic Village is the world's highest village. Hikkim is a settlement in the Spiti district near Kaza, one of India's highest year-round inhabited sites. Return to your Kaza hotel for an overnight stay after touring the lovely settlements of Langza, Hikkim, and Komik.
After breakfast, you will go to the next destination, the lovely crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake.Take a right before Baltal to visit Chandratal Lake after passing Kunzum La. The scenery is breathtaking, and you'll have to park your car and walk two kilometers to reach the lake. Due to its crescent form, the lake is also known as the "Moon Lake" and is located in the Spiti region of the Lahaul and Spiti province. It is surrounded on one side by mountains and on the other by a cirque. The lake sparkles under the starlit sky after dusk, adding to its allure.Stay at a camp near Chandratal for dinner and an overnight stay.
Today you'll leave the Spiti Valley behind and go to Manali. You'll cross the Rohtang Pass on the route and arrive in Manali in the evening.Your Spiti Valley vacation comes to a close with unforgettable recollections.
